Today marks the 2 month count down til my arrival in Mombasa! I am almost done all my bookings. Once I hear from one more friend in Durban, South Africa and I'll be all set.
Set is actually a relative term. I'll have my itinerary set out, but there is still much to do. I've been so lucky that some stores actually still carry items for hot weather traveling. It feels a little funny being surrounded by winter boots, coats, skiing equipment and more and asking a sales clerk if they have a sleeping bag for 20-30C.
